One Hope
I hope to make families and children feel welcome,
validated and celebrated. To empower children and promote the unison of families and local communities.
I hope to have the courage, the right words at the
right time, to stand up for children facing oppression.
One Goal
My goal is to finish my Master's degree and maybe
later be able to teach other educators about anti-bias education. To bring awareness to anti-bias education to educators in Brazil.
Thank you all for the rich exchanges. I feel privileged to
have learned and worked with so many amazing ladies. I wish you all the best in
your future endeavors.
I love your statement To empower children and promote the unison of families and local communities. I feel we have a duty to all children and families we serve to support them and be a voice if they feel they do not have one. If we continue to support them they feel find their voice and we will begin to support their own families when ready. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteRenata,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the last 8 weeks! I have enjoyed being in class with you. I feel as though it was a positive and supportive environment in which to learn in. I, too, hope to make children and their families from diverse backgrounds feel validated, empowered, included, and welcomed into my classroom and child care center. I wish you luck in your goals of achieving your Master's degree and to bringing awareness of anti-bias education to educators in Brazil. I think that is a wonderful goal for the field of early childhood. I hope to "see" you again soon in a future class. Good luck!
Jennifer

ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading your post over the past eight week and wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors as we all reach our goal of completing our Master's Degree. Remember courage comes with any, just as we teach the children to speak up for themselves, we must help them find a voice by showing them how to use their voice. Best of luck to you!!
