My Family
My father and my stepmother

I believe that we are social beings, and relationships, from the very
beginning (infants and mothers), teach us how to interact, how to respond,
support, empathize and understand others. These relationships develop into a
network of systems, that are our support system, as we learn to trust and
communicate our emotions. Healthy relationships are related to
health and wellbeing, whereas loneliness is linked to affliction.
There are several different levels of relationships, all of them are crucial to our social emotional welfare, development and growth.
I believe the
more we relate and expand our network, the more we become skilled in nurturing
and growing personal relationships. In order to have healthy relationships we
should be able to compromise, and respect other’s people’s views. Relationships
are similar to a garden, it should be nurtured and protected daily.
These
personal relationships build our emotional foundations, and shapes us into what
we are. It also echoes into our professional life. As teachers we should be
able to empathize with parents and children in order to establish healthy,
caring relationships.
My father is the foundation for everything in my life. He has done everything possible to give educational opportunities and has always been there for me. He has taught me my moral and ethical principals and is still my role model. He is very lucky because he found a person such as my stepmother, who takes good care of him.
A família
My aunties and cousins helped to raise me. They took care of me, fed me, taught me to behave and talk properly, helped me doing my lessons, took me to the beach and fun places, when my parents couldn’t, because they were working.

My cats! Purrr.
My cuties are my everyday company, eating everything, destroying the furniture, making me laugh and always looking for some confort.

Best friends forever

Renata,
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful group of relationships. I especially enjoy the stories of people's families. These are the people who give us our values, our culture, and truly define who we are as people. When I looked at the picture of your family, it was as though I could feel the bond and love from the picture. I really enjoyed looking at your pictures. Our family relationships are the foundation and our friends and co-workers help to give us new experiences of fun and adventure to build on that foundation. I agree our pets are there for us on a day to day basis and never fail to give the unconditional love we need sometimes. How did you ever get your cats to pose for the picture!!! Thanks for sharing.

Renata,
ReplyDeleteGreat post. For one I know it is a wonderful feeling to have so many supporters and positive relationships in your life. I know that while trying to accomplish all of the goals I have set for myself it helps to have a great supporter behind you.
Best Wishes,
